COMMUNICATION WITH RACE OFFICIALS

  • Hearing Request, Scoring Review Request, Sail Number Change, and RC Jury Question forms are available from the race office.
  • Hearing requests can be filed from you smart phone using the US Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing-App and emailed to [email protected]
    • Download the US Sailing Racing Rules of Sailing-App from the App Store or Google Play.
  • The following forms can be filed by clicking on the link and providing the requested information.
    • Scoring Review Request

Leaving and Returning to Ocean Courses The centerline “Keep Right” buoys from the edge of the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club basin to the end of the Alamitos Bay jetty (including A mark at the end of the jetty) must take these buoys to port. The AquaLink ferry to downtown Long Beach uses this channel and you are required to keep clear of them at all times.


The ILCA District 25 Championship is open to boats of the International Laser Class Association: ILCA 7, ILCA 6, and ILCA 4. ILCA competitors must be current members of ILCA North America or their equivalent national ILCA Association. Non-members can join the class online at https://ilcanasailing.org/about-joining.

RELATED EVENTS: For ILCA 6 boats this is the first regatta of the 2024-2025 SCYYRA Ullman Frost Series. https://www.scyyra.org/series/18/ullman-info. Eligible boats wishing to be scored in the SCYYRA Ullman Frost Series may enter by completing a separate online registration at https://www.scyyra.org.


HOSPITALITY

  • The hospitality of ABYC is extended to all participants.
  • The galley will be open each day. Breakfast, bag lunches and adult beverages are available.
  • The club bar will be open after racing.
  • ABYC yard rules do not allow dogs, other than service dogs, onto the property or boat yard.


PARKING AND STORAGE

  • Due to space limitations, vehicle parking on ABYC grounds is restricted.
  • Off‐street metered parking is available across the street in municipal lots.
  • Street parking is available. Street sweeping occurs on Thursday and Friday, check the signs when parking as the parking tickets are expensive.
  • Parking of unattached trailers on public streets is prohibited.


BOAT LAUNCHING

  • Your entry includes launching, recovery, and storage for visiting competing boats during the event.
  • The ABYC Yard is open Wednesday through Sunday from 0830 to 1700.
  • Visiting competing boats may request extended storage online at https://abyc.org/visiting-sailors. The cost is $20.00 per day paid in advance, multi-boat trailers, oversized trailers will be priced according to space requirements.
  • Any boat or trailer found on ABYC property without prior written authorization from ABYC is subject to impound and associated fees.
